Terms of
Service.
The agreement between you and us when you use this site, buy coffee, or sign up for one of our programs. Plain English where we can, the necessary lawyering where we can't.
The short version
By using this website or buying from us, you're agreeing to these terms. Be cool, don't abuse the shop or our team, and respect the brand. If you have a problem with an order, email info@lap24coffee.com before anything else — we'd much rather sort it out directly than push you to a process.
Who we are
"Lap24 Coffee," "Lap24," "we," "us," and "our" mean Lap24 Coffee, operating out of the Houston, Texas area. "You" means you — anyone using this website or purchasing our products.
Eligibility
You need to be at least 18 years old to place an order. By checking out, you're confirming you are.
Orders, pricing, and availability
Prices, products, and availability can change without notice. We work hard to keep the site accurate, but if there's an obvious pricing error or stock mismatch, we reserve the right to cancel or correct the order before it ships — and we'll always tell you why and offer a refund if the order was already charged.
Placing an order isn't a guarantee we'll accept it. Most orders go through automatically; rarely, we may need to decline (suspected fraud, address we can't ship to, an item we sold out of mid-checkout).
Payments
Checkout and payment processing run through Shopify. Your card details are handled by Shopify's payment processors and never touch our servers. By placing an order, you're also agreeing to Shopify's terms for the transaction.
Subscriptions
If you sign up for our monthly cold brew subscription:
- You're charged at checkout, then again on the same day each month for as long as the subscription is active.
- Each subscription is locked to one flavor and one pack size at a time, but you can swap flavor, pack size, or cadence anytime from your Shopify customer account before the next charge.
- You can pause or cancel anytime from your account — no fees, no minimum commitment, no hassle.
- If the subscription is in a preorder window when you sign up, your first shipment goes out within 48 hours of our cans arriving from production.
Preorders
When we open a preorder window for a fresh batch, your card is charged at checkout — that's how we know exactly how many cans to produce. Preorders ship within 48 hours of the cans landing at HQ. You can cancel for a full refund any time before the production run starts; after that, we can swap your flavor or pack size but can't refund a brewed batch.
Shipping and returns
Our full shipping and returns policy lives at /shipping and is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Catering, wholesale, and partnerships
Catering, wholesale, and partnership engagements are handled on a case-by-case basis under separate signed agreements. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer or a binding quote. Booking a discovery call doesn't obligate either of us to anything until we agree on terms in writing.
Intellectual property
The Lap24 name, logo, branding, product names, photos, copy, design, and any other content on this site are owned by Lap24 Coffee. You're welcome to share links, screenshots, or photos of your coffee — please tag us. You don't have permission to use our marks or copy in your own commercial work, sell knockoff merch, or imply an affiliation that doesn't exist.
If you post photos to social media and tag us, we may reshare your post or feature it on the site, with credit to your handle. Tagging us is your consent for the reshare.
Acceptable use
Don't use this site to do anything illegal, abusive, or harmful to other users. Don't try to break into our infrastructure, scrape the site at a scale that affects performance, or use bots to game promotions. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or block access if you do.
Disclaimers
We do our best to keep the site accurate, secure, and up — but we provide it "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific product will be available at any given time.
Caffeine is a stimulant. Our coffee contains it. If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or have any medical reason to be cautious about caffeine, talk to your doctor before drinking it. You're responsible for knowing what you're putting in your body.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lap24 Coffee is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of this website or our products. Our total liability to you in any matter is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top and (for big changes) email the Apex Club list so you're not surprised. Continuing to use the site or buy from us after a change means you accept the new terms.
