The short version

We're a small specialty coffee company. We collect the info we need to roast and ship your coffee, run our subscription program, and keep you in the loop if you signed up for our newsletter. We don't sell your information to anyone. If you ever want a copy of what we have on you — or you want it deleted — email us at info@lap24coffee.com and we'll handle it within a business day.

What we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Order info — name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone, and the items you bought. This comes through Shopify, which processes our checkout.
• Account info — if you create a Shopify customer account or subscription, we keep the same details so we can find your past orders and ship the next one.
• Form submissions — when you fill out the Apex Club signup, the catering inquiry, the wholesale application, the Cars & Bibles discount form, or any other form on the site, we keep the info you typed (name, email, phone, anything relevant to the request).
• Usage data — pages you visited, where you came from, what device you're on, roughly where in the world you are. This is collected through Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and the TikTok Pixel.
• Communications — if you email us or DM us, we keep that thread.

How we use it

• Fulfill orders, manage subscriptions, and provide customer support.
• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and (if you opted in) marketing emails or SMS.
• Improve the site and figure out what's working — what pages people read, which products people care about.
• Run ads on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok using the pixels above. Those platforms use the data to show you (and people like you) our ads.
• Comply with the law and protect ourselves from fraud.

Who we share it with

We use third-party services to actually run the business. The main ones:

• Shopify — payments and order management.
• GoHighLevel — CRM, marketing emails, form submissions, the booking calendar, and SMS for our Cars & Bibles discount.
• SimpleTexting — the SMS opt-in form for the Cars & Bibles discount.
• Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok — analytics and ad attribution.
• Netlify — the company that hosts this website.

Each of those companies has their own privacy policy. We share only what they need to do the job we hired them for, and we never sell your information.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies to run analytics, remember preferences, and power the ad pixels listed above. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings — some things on the site may not work as smoothly if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically with the Google opt-out browser add-on.

Marketing emails and texts

If you joined the Apex Club newsletter, you'll get an email roughly once a month with new roasts, brewing guides, and the occasional discount code. Every email has an unsubscribe link in the footer. If you opted into SMS through one of our forms, you can text STOP to any message to opt out — that's a federal requirement, and we honor it immediately.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Send you a copy of what we have on you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your information (unless we're legally required to keep it — like tax records for orders).
• Stop sending you marketing.

Kids

This site isn't directed at anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from kids under 13. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. For substantial changes, we'll also email anyone on the Apex Club list so you're not caught off guard.
